What’s going on at Soilworks
What does it take to be an innovator? At Soilworks, innovation means always looking for new and better ways of solving the challenges our customers bring to us every day.
It led us to form Soilworks more than a decade ago. It led to the development of our core dust control products. It even guides the way we approach our daily tasks at our world headquarters in Scottsdale.
Now, we think we’ve found yet another way to be innovative.
Soilworks’ collection of dust control products now includes a new, patented gas-to-liquid (GTL) technology that creates the purest, most efficient dust control product in the world.
Durasoil and GTL Technology
Unlike harmful petroleum-based dust suppressants and synthetic fluid derivatives made from crude oil, Durasoil is a synthetic dust control fluid made from clean, affordable and abundant natural resources.
Why is this important? Simply put, creating safe, clean products that respect our environment is a core mission of Soilworks.
Since its creation, Durasoil was engineered to be a non-toxic, biodegradable and pollutant-free product. Now, with GTL technology, Durasoil is even better, with only the cleanest, safest materials like natural gas used to produce Durasoil, creating a product that’s both ultra-pure and extremely safe
How it Works
With our new GTL formula, Durasoil’s ground-breaking synthetic fluid properties can control dust on a micron level in the most extreme and intense-use situations by “wetting out” any soil or aggregate to create a long-term, re-workable and self-healing solution that coats and agglomerates particulates, weighing them down like water without evaporating or freezing.
This creates many opportunities for our customers to find just the right application for their construction, energy, mining and military projects. Durasoil can be applied to control dust for such diverse applications as underground mining heavy haul roads, remote dirt and gravel aircraft runways, border patrol roads, forestry roads and even military tank trails.
And it’s not just where Durasoil can be applied that’s important, it’s also when – like in the middle of winter.
One of the more unique enhancements to Durasoil now that we’re utilizing GTL technology is the ability to apply the product in extreme arctic conditions when freeze-dried soils generate dusty conditions. In the past, these temperatures made application nearly impossible because the dust control products had long since frozen solid. The new Durasoil changes that. Furthermore, its non-volatile formulation and increased resistance to oxidation from intense UV rays further extends Durasoil’s performance longevity even in scalding hot, arid environments.
Is the industry’s first non-corrosive, BNQ certified, water-insoluble dust control product right for you?
We feel Durasoil’s most recent independent third party testing and BNQ re-certification makes a strong case.
But we want you to find out for yourself. Which is why our dust control experts are available when you need them to answer any questions you may have about our products. Trust them to find not only the best solution for your project, but also the best Soilworks product for your dust control project.
Today’s dust control industry is driven by ever-increasing requirements for environmental efficacy and genuine results. Let Durasoil’s GTL technology be the solution for you.
