Gorilla-Snot is Tough on Dust, Easy on Budgets

Used in the public and private sectors around the world, Gorilla-Snot continues to minimize fugitive dust while maximizing its value to companies.
The cost-effective performance of Gorilla-Snot has led to its use in global military theaters and acceptance by the U.S. Department of Defense.

When Soilworks created the value-engineered version of its trusted flagship dust suppressant Soiltac, the company knew a product that was distinctly effective on suppressing dust must be represented with a distinctly unique name. The resulting dust control agent named Gorilla-Snot, has earned its dependable reputation, delivering consistent, repeatable and remarkable results for the U.S. Department of Defense and a multitude of both public and private sector organizations since its introduction in 2005.

What Makes Gorilla-Snot Different?

The innovative product is a biodegradable, copolymer-based dispersion that is primarily designed to control dust and erosion. Gorilla-Snot is comprised of long, nanoparticle molecular structures that link and cross-link together to form strong bonds between particulates, soils and aggregates.

The solution is designed to be easily applied topically to almost any soil or aggregate. A modest application will create a light surface crust that remains permeable for air and water, yet perfect for controlling dust and suppressing PM10 and PM2.5 particulate matter to maintain air quality and visibility.

Increased applications of Gorilla-Snot are highly effective for roads and other traffic areas.  The product is designed to penetrate into the ground creating a strong and resilient, yet flexible, surface wear course that can withstand the intense abuse of vehicle traffic and environmental conditions.

After application and when the solution has cured, the landscape will appear to look untouched, controlling dust for weeks to even years, depending on the site specific desired outcome.

Is Gorilla-Snot Safe?

Once cured, Gorilla-Snot is odorless, colorless, non-slippery, water resistant, ultraviolet-ray resistant, non-flammable and is human, animal, marine life and vegetation safe.

Gorilla-Snot has seen extraordinary success with the U.S. Military and Allied Forces which has led to substantial contracts including supplying Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and the on-going post invasion efforts to rebuild the infrastructure of Iraq.

Important Facts about Dust Control and Gorilla-Snot

The innovative Gorilla-Snot technology is designed to control dust and stabilize soil. The advanced polymer technology used to create Gorilla-Snot is fascinating.
