Elevated spikes in PDR dust monitor readings occurred from 9:15 to 11am when the fog rolled in. |
Fog caused erroneous readings in PDRs. Presence of fog will be recorded in daily reports and checked against PDR dust monitor readings. |

01/15/08 |
A Weston Equipment Operator operating a D6R bulldozer backed into and grazed a communications service pole at approximately 8:40am. The pole was broken off at the base causing the pole to relocate 2-3 feet. There was no damage to the communication lines. |
Weston Site Supervisor (Charlie Smith) notified Mark Edwards (LFR) and Bruce More (Weston SUXOS). The utility pole is scheduled to be removed and relocated, therefore, permanent repair was not required. Ahtna installed a pole 8 feet into the ground immediately next to the broken pole, then bolted the two poles together to act as a brace. To prevent from occurring again, Weston will maintain a minimum 5- ft radius around utility poles. |

01/17/08 |
The PDR on the west side fell on the ground likely causing instantaneous elevated readings |
Additional support will be added to the PDR stand to prevent a re-occurrence. Event recorded in daily reports and checked against PDR dust monitor readings |

The PDR on the west side fell on the ground likely causing instantaneous elevated readings |
Additional support was added to the PDR stand. Event recorded in daily reports and checked against PDR dust monitor readings. |

02/04/08 |
Erosion was noted along a step slope adjacent to General Jim Moore Blvd. |
Weston personnel installed approximately 250 linear feet of straw wattle along the southern edge of the scraped road on General Jim Moore Blvd to minimize erosion along this steep slope. |
40 |
02/04/08 |
Potential erosion issue to the NRMA identified along the eastern side of the sift plant operations. |
Weston personnel installed 1,000 linear feet of silt fence along the eastern edge of the screening staging area at approximately 35 feet east of the NRMA boundary line. Contact RPM to devise plan to address dust issues moving forward. |
42 |
02/11/08 |
PDR Location 2 data lost during transfer from PDR to laptop. |
|
49 |
02/14/08 |
Wind blowing dust in direction of homes. |
Work activities were immediately shut down to minimize dust transport off-site (Transport of MRS.SEA.1 scraped soil was not completed as a result). |

03/25/08 |
Considerable cultural debris contacts encountered during geophysical investigations in SCA-53. |
Weston personnel began scraping SCA-53 in 2-3 foot lifts due to the presence of significant asphalt and concrete. |
112 |
03/26/08 |
Considerable cultural debris contacts encountered during geophysical investigations in multiple SCAs. |
Weston scraped SCAs 25, 31, 32, 40, 42, and 43 to depths greater than 6 inches in depth to remove detectable contacts. Weston continued scraping SCAs A-53, 56, and 41 |
114 |
03/31/08 |
Considerable cultural debris contacts encountered during geophysical investigations in multiple SCAs. |
Weston continued scraping SCA A-53 using the excavator. There was significant amount of asphalt at this SCA. Weston personnel scraped SCA A-32, 33, and 35 to depths greater than 6 inches with the support of UXO personnel |
120 |
04/02/08 |
