Persistent dust storms along Interstate-10 in southeastern Arizona led to multiple highway closures, prompting state officials to implement emergency dust suppression measures. The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) selected Soilworks to apply Gorilla-Snot®, a biodegradable copolymer emulsion, to stabilize loose soil and prevent further dust emissions.
Gorilla-Snot® effectively binds soil particles, creating a durable, erosion-resistant crust that mitigates wind-blown dust hazards.
