As usual, localized blowing dust is possible, which will test out the effectiveness of the “glue” that was applied to a large field west of San Simon last week, that had frequently been a source of freeway-closing blowing dust in the past several weeks. A Wind Advisory is in effect for parts of Southeastern Arizona.
The winds, along with dry conditions, create critical fire weather conditions, and a Red Flag Warning has been issued from noon to 7 p.m.
