The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) has approved the use of Gorilla-Snot® for land application in dust suppression and soil stabilization. Laboratory testing confirms that at a dosage rate of <1000 mg/L, Gorilla-Snot® does not cause toxic impacts to aquatic life in receiving streams, making it an environmentally responsible solution for controlling dust and stabilizing loose soils. The approval is contingent upon proper application in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and best management practices (BMPs).
As a biodegradable copolymer emulsion, Gorilla-Snot® effectively binds soil particles, reduces erosion, and minimizes airborne dust emissions while maintaining compliance with environmental regulations. This certification reinforces its suitability for construction sites, road projects, and environmentally sensitive areas where regulatory approval for dust palliatives is required.
You have requested approval for the use of a product, Gorilla Snot, which is a soil stabilizer and a dust control agent. The MSDS and laboratory testing information supplied by SOILWORKS©, LLC verifies that the use of this product at the dosage rate of <1000 mg/L will not cause toxic impacts to aquatic life in receiving streams.
