Formal evaluation by the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) resulted in approval of Soiltac® Soil Stabilization and Dust Control under Specification 603.25 for use on state transportation projects. Through the Product Evaluation Program, the department reviewed the product’s performance and determined it acceptable for soil stabilization and dust control applications within construction and maintenance operations. This approval supports the use of polymer-based soil treatment technologies on roadway shoulders, unpaved roads, embankments, maintenance yards, and other transportation infrastructure environments where surface durability and particulate control are required.
Transportation agencies and contractors operating in arid and semi-arid climates require dust suppression and soil stabilization systems that reduce fugitive dust emissions, enhance subgrade strength, and improve long-term surface integrity. Soiltac, a copolymer emulsion soil stabilizer, provides durable particle binding for unpaved road stabilization, construction site dust mitigation, and erosion control on slopes and disturbed soils. For extended dust control on haul roads and maintenance access routes without reliance on repeated watering, Durasoil delivers long-lasting soil conditioning and particulate reduction. Where higher load resistance and surface cohesion are necessary, Gorilla-Snot enhances stabilization performance in demanding traffic and environmental conditions. For state, municipal, and heavy civil infrastructure projects requiring approved dust control and soil stabilization solutions, Soilworks offers project-specific guidance aligned with DOT performance expectations.
